Honoring the Voice

In these nature-based workshops, Ted Klontz, Ph.D. creates activities designed to help participants find a greater sense of purpose and connection by learning to better listen to, honor, and trust their own intuition and inner wisdom.   Participants will be taught ways, means, and methods to better align who they authentically are with what they do and learn how to sustain and grow this connection.

These workshops are designed to provide participants with the three things essential for well-being; information, time alone, and witnesses to their process.  The content of the workshops is based on providing experiential (actual "doing something") exercises and suggestions, rather than a traditional workshop lecture/presentation format.  When possible, participants will be invited to go outside and engage in suggested exercises. 

For our Destination Based workshops, we meet each morning to check-in, get some information and guidance and then are encouraged to go outdoors on a "wander"; typically alone.  When participants return they are invited to share the essence of their experience, with fellow group members.  Permission to not share, is always respected.  Since participants will be encouraged to be outside, we ask participants to plan for changes in weather (raincoat, layers, sun protection, walking sticks, backpack, insect repellent, small folding chair, etc.).  A more complete packing list will be sent prior to the workshop.  Participants may choose their own level of physical participation ranging from just sitting at the site to adventurous hiking.  These workshops are each unique, based on their location. Prior to the workshop we provide specifics to registrants about lodging, airports, local sites, equipment lists, schedule details, etc.

For our Virtual, Online Workshops, all elements of the workshop described above are the same, except for travel, spending time as a community before and after the day's normal activities, and unless you live in a fabulously rich natural world, access to deep nature.  We ask virtual/online participants to prepare a special "space" in or near their home where they could go to be alone for blocks of time.  As with the other workshop, they will then return to the group to share any insights with others.  Again, permission to not share, is always respected.  Additional features such as an exclusive private website for use during and after the workshop are a unique part of this workshop.

For Destination based workshops transportation to the site is the responsibility of the attendee, including the transfer from the airport to the site.
